| Abstract: | The target population of the Campaign Panel comprises all German citizens who were eligible to vote in the election to the German Bundestag in 2013 and 2017. Due to conducting the study online, not every German citizen eligible to vote had a chance to be selected for the survey. Thus, the frame population is restricted to German citizens eligible to vote who were members of the Online-Access-Panels conducted by Respondi AG. After completing a double opt-in registration procedure and filling in their master data, Respondi panel members are considered active, when they participated in a survey in the twelve (2013) or three (2017) months, whereas GapFish panel members are considered active when they participated in a survey in the past 12 months. | Translation of the abstract: | Die Grundgesamtheit des Wahlkampfpanels bildet die zur Bundestagswahl 2013 und 2017 wahlberechtigte Bevölkerung. Da es sich aber bei der vorliegenden Studie um eine Online-Befragung handelt, konnte keine Zufallsstichprobe realisiert werden. Die dieser Studie zugrunde liegende Auswahlgesamtheit umfasst somit nur die wahlberechtigten Teilnehmer des von der Respondi AG betriebenen Online-Access-Panels. Als aktive Personen definiert Respondi diejenigen Personen, die nach der (Double-opt-in-) Registrierung die Stammdatenbefragung ausgefüllt haben und in den letzten zwölf Monaten an mindestens einer Umfrage teilgenommen haben.
