The first Democracy Audit Mannheim (DAMA) was conducted between 2012 and 2013 with the support of the city of Mannheim and the Zentrum für Europäische Sozialforschung (MZES) at the University of Mannheim. The study offers a detailed description of political attitudes of Mannheim´s population, their willingnes to participate, and their assessments of of the workings of democracy in the city.
